Got a chance to continue the adventures of Hadrian Helm. Link below to RPGnet thread... as well as some links to thee artwork done at the table and later on.

As requested on another thread, the Silver Wolf sketch done at the table. As well as the Tyrian mind controled Army Intelligence dudes of Area 52. The MInd Controlled MIBs was a really, really fast doodle. Just the barest hint of the Tyrian mind control helmet that Judd mentioned during play.

And I wasn't happy with Dr. Stig's sketch from earlier. Too boring. Too staid. I wanted to get some more emotion and capture more of what Jeff does at the table. So I drew this....

If you are curious in the actual play of our Spirit of the Century game... the link that Judd has written up is here:

The dwarf on this page was drawn by one of my players during a session. The image doesn't really do it justice, as the lower resolution obscures the clear lines of the original.

I make sure drawing supplies are on hand for this guy when he's gaming. I think he's very talented.

My players have been using City of Heroes to do their own character shots lately, though some of them have braved the perils of Daz3d and tried their own hand at it.

This is Cassiopeia VII, an NPC who has recently shown up in my Super San Diego game after a strange turn of events resulted in the time-line being rewritten and only a handfull of heroes know whats happened. She seems to know what's happened, but isn't letting any secrets out.

There are some really nice pictures there.. I especially love the pencil works!

I thought I'd contribute and add an image here from a GURPS Monster Manual project I am working on. Basically I am getting a random monster name from seventh sanctum, trying to come up with a small description, stat it out and paint it.

Here is one such vicious beastie:

Knight Piercer

Fear spreads like a bushfire whenever the terrifying Knight Piercers move out from their caves in the mountains near populated places. Many brave heroes have fallen victim to a group of Knight Piercers setting up an ambush somewhere around a mountain pass.

While not many have seen a Knight Piercer an lived, those who saw them described them as roughly humanoid with powerful armor plates shielding their entire body, viscious spikes portruding from every centimeter of their yellowish hides and a huge stinger attached near their heads.. almost giving the impression that this was, in fact, a second head. It seems Knight Piercers have a strange love for everything shiny.. all kinds of reflecting metals attract them and they look with greed and deep hatred at those who posess (or even wear) them. This strange obsession with metal seems to be the reason why they always attack heavily armoured knights and almost always ignore others dressed in leather or plain cloth.

Knight Piercers are best left alone and avoided since they are rather tough, attack in groups (1d-2) and are very hard to come by with ranged weapons.

Combat stats
HP 15 HT 12 BSp 5.5 MOVE 5 FP 15 Per 9
Defenses: Parry 10 Dodge 8 Block -- DR 8
Attacks: Claws 14- / 1d-1 cut / C Kick 12- / 1d cut / C,1
Charged Striker Attack 1d+2 (5) imp / C,1 / needs 5 seconds recharge after use can be blocked and parried.

Full stats
ST 12 [20]; DX 10 [0]; IQ 7 [-60]; HT 12 [20].
Damage 1d-1/1d+2; BL 29 lbs.; HP 15 [6]; Will 8 [5]; Per 9 [10]; FP 15 [9].
Basic Speed 5,5 [0]; Basic Move 5 [0]; Block 0; Dodge 8; Parry 10 (Brawling).

Advantages

Charged Striker Attack 2 (Melee Attack: Reach C,1; Visible (+1); Takes Recharge (5 seconds); Partial Dice (+2); Armor Divisor (5); Blockable (can be blocked with shield)) [44]; Claws (Sharp Claws) [5]; Damage Resistance 8 (Tough Skin) [24]; Short Spines [1]; Striker (Impaling) [8].
Disadvantages
Bloodlust (9 or less) [-15]; Compulsive Behavior (Shiny Things) -2 (6 or less) [-20]; Greed (9 or less; only shiny things) [-11]; Impulsiveness (12 or less) [-10]; Jealousy (only if from other race) [-8].

Quirks: Collects Shiny things; Incompetence: Swimming [-2].

Here is a character of mine for an upcoming Exalted game. This is Ethereal Mist with his Osprey companion.

Here's the Firebat AFV. (Front, right, and top)

TL8
ST/HP: 115
Hnd/SR: 0/5
HT: 11f
Move: 5/20
LWt: 44
Load: 12.2
SM: +4
Occ: 1S
DR: 50/30
Range: 250
Cost: $750k
Locations: 2LT3X
Notes: Dark Vision, Ladar (Rng .5 mi) Laminate Armor (Hardened 1), Radar (Rng 10 mi; can track 4 targets), Telecommunication (Radio)
20mm Gatling Cannon w/2,150 rounds, Assault Laser, 8x 250mm Laser-Guided Anti-Tank missiles.
The "windows" are slabs of armoplas. Not much against anti-vehicular rounds, but sufficient to stop small-arms (hence no large-glass windows).

Here's a Strike Cruiser that MonkeyFist did on Friday (Some other shots). And its fighters launching (rear shot).

I've dubbed it the Eternal but MonkeyFist hasn't given it a name yet. He kept telling me it was supposed to be a small ship . . . but I finally cured him of that delusion.

He is soooooooo much better at vehicles than I am. In the time it took me to build the Firebat's leg, he built the fighters and their cradles.
