(i.e. play nicely if Kromm is running your game.)

Meteoric Iron can be applied to any metal weapon for +19CF. It doesn’t prohibit projectiles, so there is no reason you can’t have meteoric arrowheads.
It's even canonical with the sample scout carrying them.

My scout carries fine, silver-coated, meteoric iron bodkins, because if you need penetrate magic, you might as well be prepared for heavy DR and weird vulnerabilities.

I hate shooting them, because they're around $60 each, and I can't guarantee he'll be able to find another batch to replace them the next time he goes to Town. I'm not sure I would have fired a third one at that dragon even if the dragon hadn't set my scout on fire before I got the chance.

But the low and unreliable damage coupled with the expense of shooting them is part of the reason we fled from the flying dragon instead of engaging: 3 attacks, only one of which was likely to cause injury, was not enough to take down a HP 35 beast, and the knight, martial artist, and wizard couldn't really contribute at all. Non-meteoric bodkins and the cleric's Sunbeams would not have cut it either.

Well, the absorptive kind may well be, depending on what they absorbed.

All metal arrows aren't an option, and I suspect that "The Deadly Spring" is far outside of the scope of this forum (here's my attempt at a modifier for meteoric arrows for GURPS DF, though).

So this is another (very subtle) difference? The text for meteoric looks really similar.

If the GM likes, sure:
A feared subclass of jellies absorb victims' abilities along with the bodies, allowing the GM to add any trait that seems fun . . .
All absorbed traits are "if the GM likes." It's really just an excuse to add new twists to a familiar monster!

It's "Any metal weapon" in GURPS Dungeon Fantasy 1, not "Any all-metal weapon." If you look just down the page, the text for silver weapons is pretty clear: "Metal arrows, bolts . . . can be made of solid silver . . .". A projectile with a metal head is allowed to use modifiers for metal weapons. What Dungeon Fantasy Adventurers does is make this clearer:
Metal Weapon: Any melee weapon, thrown weapon, or projectile capable of cutting, impaling, or piercing damage, save for a rock or wooden stake.

I love how many tricky questions can be settled definitively by looking up the actual text of the rule. That means some people did a fantastic job with these books.
