Sorry to thread Necro, but how do skills work with Robots for standard models anyway? I'm curious because I'm planning on running a 4th edition reign of steel game, and I don't recall how the calculation worked for deriving the skills in things like guns or beam weapons.

Reign of Steel: Will to Live has robots ready-to-go as characters, and should answer all your questions. Obviously they won't be an exact match for the numbers here, but the designs were set up with Ultra-Tech's hardware in mind.

(That's not all that's in the book, of course.)

It's in the production process. PK just finished his edit. The manuscript is in the layout queue, and we still have to procure art. Expect a summer release.
