This one does look very interesting. The notes on architecture catch my eyes in that "dimensional portal to the realm of sudden inspiration and creativity opens"-kind of way. The feelilng of gears interlocking and starting to turn inside my head ensues.
That's a good thing, right? Right?

Re: [New Release] GURPS Urban Magics: Hey, I'm Castin' Here!
I don't remember everyone on the list of playtest credits, which I turned in several months back, after all. But looking through my old e-mails from the playtest, I see that you made several comments on small technical points such as the mechanics of ley line spells and the design of templates. Those are exactly the sort of useful small questions that are appreciated in a playtest! They might not put you first in line, but when the author(s) and the lead playtester ask, "Who else contributed something useful," they tend to be noticed.
Moreover, you made not one single comment that was pointless, annoying, or persistently disputatious for disputation's sake. That sort of brevity and sticking to the objective is highly prized by people who have to read thousands of playtest posts. So take the file with a good conscience. Bill Stoddard |

It's been pointed out to me by two different people that there are both a "Kevin Smith" and a "Kevin Smyth" in our community. The person whose playtest comments I found worthy of recognition is Kevin Smyth, as verified by looking again at my mail files for the playtest. Kevin Smyth should be comped; Kevin Smith should not.

Thank the Dog that the Other Brett Evill prefers motorcycles to RPGs.
