Equip/unequip cards when it isn't your turn
Can you change your equipped/unequipped items if it is not your turn?
another question: You can put a new item in play immediately when you receive it. I understand you can play it equipped or unequipped on the table. But, if it is not your turn, can you unequip another item/s to let you equip this new item that have you received? (some examples of this could be commerce or charity) |

Unless you are in combat, yes, you can.

No. That's clearly spelled out in the rules as something you can only do on your turn. (Exception: if you just received the card -- for example, because you helped in combat or you received Charity -- you may play it immediately.)
