bit of an odd request by a player

I have a player that wants to play a symbiote. Anyone have an idea of how to build this.

The symbiote is a bit of a toughy. I'd probably create the Eddie Brock equivalent as an ally with the familiar trait, and the Venom equivalent as the PC. The Venom equivalent would have lots of disadvantages like Sessile and No Fine Manipulators. The ally would grant advantages that remove those disadvantages and give whatever superhuman abilities are appropriate, all with the Granted by Familiar limitation.

It's a bit baroque, but it's one way to model it.

The digital entity is much simpler. Start with the AI and Spirit Meta-traits (B263) and add or subtract traits as needed depending on what you think the character can do. The Transhuman Space books will also have lots of advice for handling this kind of character.

Depends, what kind of symbiote? A parasite, mutualist, or commensualist? What species is the host? Which entity is in control? Or do they share control (like a Trill)? Can the symbiote survive outside the host, even briefly? Can it occupy a new host?

well, she wants to be able to bond with anyone, and share control. Yes she can exist without a host.

The digital person was human but got digitized. She can not interact with stuff on her own. She can move though the internet and possess computers and such.

By "share control" do you mean that either entity can be in control at any given time? Or that they form a gestalt entity like a Trill? If the former, which decides whose in control? If the latter which player controls the gestalt?

Start with the AI metatrait, and take Possession (Digital).
