Cheat - 1 or 2 Hands
My friends and I got into a debate on how the Cheat with Both Hands works with an item that can be used either as a 1 or 2 handed item.
Scenario: The user already has one legal 2-handed item and they play the "Cheat w/ Both Hands" card, with a 1 or 2 handed item. I would assume that the cheated item would count as a two-handed item for the maximum bonus. However, if the user decides to place another hand item on top of the CWBH cards, does the original item still count as two hands, or is it knocked down to one? My apologies as I don't remember the name of the item that could be used as a 1 hand or 2 hand. |

Re: Cheat - 1 or 2 Hands
The card "Cheat With Both Hands" has nothing to do with handedness of the Items being cheated. Essentially it's 2 Cheat! cards for the price of one.
My understanding is, if you are using an Item with Cheat! or Cheat With Both Hands, and that Item gives a higher bonus if you wield it with two hands, you do not get the higher bonus, since essentially you are using no hands to wield it. |

Re: Cheat - 1 or 2 Hands
Enzzo is correct: This card does not specifically target Hand Items, and a Cheat! card does not give you the maximum bonus for an Item that offers two potential bonuses on its own..
