Default Megahexes

Quick question on using multiple megahexes. What is the best way to keep the various megahexes pieces together? When you use multiple megahexes (like a puzzle) to make larger rooms/arenas/Death Test rooms, what is best method for maintaining there intended shape? Scotch tape on the reverse side?

If using a bare tabletop, a tiny piece of poster putty (e.g. Blu-Tack) on the back of each tile works well.

Great question. I discovered that if I lay a soft, fairly thick table cloth down that the MH tiles don't slide around and the labyrinth will keep it shape as you move figures around.

  • Purchase a 4'x4' eighth inch steel sheet. Adhere this to the wall.
  • Tape a small flat magnet to the back of each Megahex.
  • Place the megahexes onto the steel sheet in whatever design you want.
  • Place a bit of tack to the base of your figure chit and place on the megahexes.

Now you can do wall-gaming. Makes it easier to ZOOM. ;)

I bought a 1 square yard piece of green felt and it works great to stop slide around and dice runaway

I've seen it suggested before that, if you have one of the playmats available for TFT (or other games, like MtG), flip them over, and the backing creates a non-slip surface to place the tiles on.

Thanks! I have to check this pout.
