Monster, Mirage, and Nelson's blood
Hi everyone,
Got a quick question, was wandering what are your thoughts. 1. We got a combat with monster (+12 shark) 2. Then we got the card "Nelson's blood" (+5 to one side). 3. Then, threw another card in, "Mirage" (discard any one monster in this combat and replace with another). Question: If "Mirage" is used in circumstances like this one, is "Nelson's blood" discarded? It does say "discard any card that is used to **modify** a monster. Nelson's blood **modifies** a monster, therefore should be discarded along with monster. Thoughts, anyone? Please let me know. Kind regards Sid |

Re: Monster, Mirage, and Nelson's blood
One-shot Items that say they affect the side (like Nelson's Blood) do not modify the Monster in the same way that Monster Enhancers (which specifically state they modify a Monster) do. So the card would stay and continue to affect the Monsters side combat strength.
