Trachmyr posted some decent guidelines for submodule clamps here. Basically, if you want to haul things smaller than you, submodule clamps are the way to go. If you want to haul (or board) things your size or larger, you need fullsized clamps.

Maybe I should go ask the guy who is doing the Spaceships design PDF to include rules for that in a future update.
I find this highly ironic - the guy you were quoting is the guy doing the Spaceships design PDFs;)

Sensor Array is probably the best example. It may sometimes be desirable to buy Scout Ships with oversized Sensors.

One thing to be wary of is Hangars. They aren't meant to work that way...

Or probes with really oversized Sensors - a 10 section sensor array makes an SM+4 probe have the sensor capabilities of a typical SM+8 ship, a ship 100 times its size.

That's what I figured you had to mean myself, but it was a humorous mistype you must admit. :)

I like this alot weby and plan to impliment it. You allude to sing SM's greater than -2 (although suggest against it and I understand that but I'm mainly thinking of armor...) How would you (or anyone else for that matter) continue the progression here:

-1 SM, 3; -2 SM, 10; -3 SM,...?
