Funny enough, the wizard in our current DF group is also a renowned chef. He's got plenty of Food spells (which works out well with my poison-focused alchemist) and has Status 3 due to his presence in the noble community. So David's second encounter is a weirdly perfect fit for him. :)

Just got the issue, and I love the Animate template article. I was pleasantly reminded of Benny the Fox when I read the section about Monster Hunters. I'm the guy who created and submitted Benny.

Glad you liked it! I've never actually read GURPS Monsters, but given all the refs Benny The Fox has been getting in this discussion, it sounds like I probably should. Thank goodness for GURPS Classics, I say. :-)
