Magic: Plant Spells
Just in case anyone else was thinking of investing some time in this one, I've got the first couple of chapters done (up to the start of the spells section) and will continue it just as soon as I find the flash drive I'd saved it on last night...

Re: Magic: Plant Spells
I would assume he's talking about a GDF for Plant Spells.
I can assure you that (A) we wouldn't even glance at a proposal for "GURPS Magic: More Plant Spells" until we've done a few more colleges, and (B) it's unlikely that a sequel would be announced here in the GURPS Character Assistant forum. :)

Re: Magic: Plant Spells
Before you get too crazy into it, I've got a spreadsheet I've got all the older spells in which makes spells much easier to do up and includes a lot of extra tag fields with all the little fiddly bits. It also makes alternate files for Clerical and Ritual spells automagic. You should get in touch with me.

Re: Magic: Plant Spells
So, did a Plant Spell GDF ever get finished?

Re: Magic: Plant Spells
Still looking for a gdf.
Why isn't this in the official data pack, the book is a few years old now! |

Re: Magic: Plant Spells
Because SJG does not pay to have data files created for the various GURPS supplements they publish. GDF creation is left to volunteers, which means that GDFs are, largely, created on an as needed basis. Additionally, even if someone did create a Magic: Plant Spells GDF, they'd have to release it publicly—so that the data file coordinator, Eric, could incorporate it into releases of the official data files.
