Default Hungry like the wolf? (W20 Cookbook)

Sorry for the pun, but I got this ad in my e-mail this afternoon:

This book is a first for the World of Darkness, providing both extra background details on each tribe of Garou and a tasty recipe that’s representative of the tribe. Many of them come with variations for feeding those Garou and Kinfolk who hold to vegetarian or vegan diets, or are gluten-intolerant. Storytellers may want to use the W20 Cookbook as an in-character prop, or as inspiration to cook something for their players before the game begins.
The W20 Cookbook contains:
  • Twenty recipes for tasty dishes, one for each tribe of the Garou.
  • Recipes range from entrees to desserts to snacks to eat on the run.
  • Examinations of how each tribe approaches food, and how even the Red Talons can enjoy a cooked meal.
I find this product delightfully bewildering. What say ye?

Sounds like someone is mixing some ah.... how to say this... special brownies with their game sessions.

But than again stranger things have been seen, and done.... Sort of a limited niche market for a cookbook.

It's not a joke. (Whimsical, yes. Joke, no.) It's a byproduct of their W20 Kickstarter, and I have the PDF. Haven't tested any of the recipes, though.

What's your impression of the recipes, if I may ask? I'm a sucker for cookbooks, so...

Sure, they've had whimsical-but-actually-existing stuff before. E.g. Book Of Swallowed Darkness.

My impression is...that I haven't tried any of them, and thus haven't formed opinions of them.

No, they're serious recipes, not parodies or in-world shticks.
