More crappy tactics and a little roleplaying.

Our log for the afternoon.

As a side note, I have two partly-written blog posts. In one, I am talking about detail for hex crawl hexes, and dynamic lairs from ACKS. In the other, which might be best down at the GURPS Repository, is a translation of D&D dragons (AD&D 2nd and D&D 3.5, specifically) for GURPS.

Log, log, it's big, it's heavy, it's wood.
Log, log, it's better than bad, it's good!

By the way I'm a year late to the party - I must have checked the forums at times between your posts - but I must congratulate you sir on excellent fantasy names - and use of macrons.

I've been trying to compile a comprehensive Excel sheet of all cool fantasy names, which then show up as exotic places or characters in GURPS Hârn. If imitation is the highest form of flattery you'll be pleased to know that Dumenrōn and Védē will soon show up as minor NPCs in a Beijing version of the Peran wilderness.

I'm glad someone noticed. I'm going for an Eastern European vibe with the names—namely, Greek and Lithuanian.

Another foray into bad tactics. I blame Jennell Jaquays for halberds.

I can now reveal these wolves to have been built with "Dire and Terrible Monsters" in the latest Pyramid. That article alone is worth the cost of the issue. Though I still think the Dire Hart needs to be called "Bambo."
