Default [HT] Dirty Tech: Increase Rate of Fire?

Hi guys

Are there rules somewhere on how to go about increasing the RoF of a given weapon?
I was looking through High Tech again but was only able to find HT79, Dirty Tech: Full-Auto Conversions. What is missing there is a value of RoF of the modified weapons.

I was wondering about TL7/8 rifles. The M4 has a RoF of 15, the G36 has 12, the SCAR has 9. All these Rifles have a Recoil of 2 and are of the same caliber, 5.56x45mm.

In 7.62x51mm the RoF goes from 12 (M14) to 9 (SCAR again), all rifles having a Rcl of 3.

Would you be able to mod any rifle to the highest of the mentioned stats as an unfavourable task? As said in the mentioned Dirty Tech box? Would such a modification increase malfunctions? What other pitfalls should one be aware of?

I really don't have any knowledge about guns so your help would really be appreciated.

Cheers

You want Tactical Shooting, page 69.
