So... holds 2000 cards? Not bad, don't think I'll be picking it up though, that's less cards than I have, yet more than I'll ever need to travel with. It's a good replacement for the illusive Sammlerkoffer though.

Also has space for Dungeon cards, dice, Kill-O-Meters, and a Level Playing Field-style board. Or whatever else you feel like putting in those wells (although the LPF one is pretty specific).

Now we just need to see a price. If it is comparable to the Big, Geeky Box for Smash Up, I'll be happy. If it is significantly more expensive, it will be a pass.

... comes in three different cover variants

Price: found one in euro: 27,95€

Bow before the Monster Box! What can you do with a box the size of two Munchkin Deluxe boxes? You can store almost 3,000 Munchkin cards in it! Also your Kill-O-Meter! And your Level Playing Field! Oh, and some Dungeons and Seals! And... well, you get the idea. Wrap it all up in full-color Munchkin illustrations and you've got the Munchkin Monster Box.

That's a lot of euros. We haven't announced the US price yet (and I'm not cleared to leak it now) but it will be significantly less than a straight conversion of the EUR price would imply.

Great news ... makes it easier to buy all 3 variants! :-)

If it is indeed 3000 cards, and not 2000 like the tweet says, I might be inclined to buy two, one for doors and one for treasures. I'd need to see the inlay first.

EDIT: miniaturemarket.com has the RRP at $29.95 (which Andrew has already debunked) and are selling preorders of $19.47. I'm guessing people are just speculating right now.

2,000 is correct. Not sure where you're seeing 3,000.

I said the price in euros seemed pretty high to me, and it does. I'd appreciate people not extrapolating my statements beyond that.

It said 3000 in Cloewe's post, above. Seeing as both 2000 and 3000 came from unofficial sources, I was merely wondering about a best-case (pun intended) scenario.

And, from living in Europe, usually prices of goods don't follow the exchange rate. What's $30 in America, is usually £30 here in the UK. While I don't know about Euros so much, I was using that logic as a guideline. Sorry for causing offense there, but I thought if I hadn't mentioned that, somebody else would have. Plus, the Euro is only slightly stronger than the dollar, making it just over $2 more.

I'm going to have to look at what the inside of this thing looks like, too. If the insert wastes (from my perspective) a lot of space making a special pocket for a Level Playing Field (which I don't have) and no good space for Level Counters (which I have a ton of) that'll be a minus (especially if doing so means it holds less CARDS than otherwise, which I have the MOST need of space for). Having special vacu-formed spots for accessories SOUNDS neat, but I'm worried that it will make it less useful the carrying the main thing (for me at least)...CARDS. :-)

But I'm cautiously excited. I've really wanted a better storage solution for Munchkin for a while, but have been too lazy for the do-it-yourself route. More Boxes of Holding would have been nice, but still unwieldy, but a single box that can carry at least a significant chunk of my collection? That's a great idea.
