Advice needed: 3D Hex Terrain
Any advice for making 3D hex terrain? Wanting to do some for Melee but curious to see what others have done.

Re: Advice needed: 3D Hex Terrain
I 3d-print mine, but of course not everybody has the hardware. I believe the terrain which SJ Games has been using for their demos uses plaster (well, dental stone, anyway) pieces made from molds produced by Hirst Arts. The molds may not come cheap, but once you've got them you can crank out an awful lot of terrain over the course of a few days and paint them to suit you.

What size hexes? The Heroscape tiles work fairly well and are about 1-1/2” across the flats.
