So the Dungeon refers to specific item type (Armor, Headgear, Footgear, Big, Small e.t.c).
1. Does this include items that give bonus to specific class/race? (bad stuff: lose all items that give bonuses to your current class)
2. Highest bonus item: bad stuff: lose an item that gives you the biggest bonus.

Do the dungeon rules apply here? Should I discard items that doesn't give bonus to my class? / Discard an item that doesn't give me the biggest bonus?

The implication of the card is a specific type of Item, not necessarily special features of the Item, like who or who couldn't use it, or the value of its bonus. The "etc." is to include things like Steeds and Steeds, not to allow for an incredibly open interpretation. However, if we were to apply it to your "biggest bonus" question, the card says that the Curse would affect "any Item BUT that type," which would mean all Items but the biggest Item, not just an Item.
