Hopefully GURPS ICD-11 will settle the question later this year.

International Classification of Diseases, 11th edition. It's a World Health Organisation publication. The GURPS edition is an effort to popularise it amongst the general public.

Or what other upsides exist for ADHD besides Hyperfocus?
Sorry, but there is no general upsides for ADHD.
People create compensations but is just it
Creating this generalization (like saying that people with ADHD are more creative) will just hurt the ones that don't have this.
The only thing is that ADHD's have a different perspective from the world and you can make more original stuff just because you see things in a different way.

Wow, so there is a GURPS book about it? That is nice since we really need this kind of info going widespread.
And one thing i like GURPS is you learn bases (not fully concrete) of a lot of things. At least is solid enough to you search by yourself

It was a joke, which another poster then continued.

I think that there are sufficient negative traits in GURPS that in combination could represent any condition or syndrome. For example, mild Down's Syndrome might be represented by -1 IQ and Stuttering [-30 CP total] while severe Down's Syndrome might be represented by -4 IQ, Cannot Speak, and Disturbing Voice [-105 CP total].

Yeah, the only thing i can't put it right is Hyperactivity.
The defict of execution is a variation of depression

Also, almost all ADHD meds don't really nullify the effects, just reduce then.
I would represent it putting that you go to a weaker level in self control rolls.
If you roll for 12 now you roll for 9 and so on
