Default Playmat storage

Having recently picked up one of the larger TFT playmats, I am now wondering how best to store it. I'm thinking rolling it inside a poster tube might be fine, but am curious as to how you all are storing your mats. Thanks!

I use tubes for a lot of them. The Imperial Assault playmats I keep in the original packaging and have them hung from the wall.

Cheers, Phil, good to know that's a sound method.

I get tubes from art supply stores. The best one I have is light plastic, expandable length and has a shoulder strap to help carrying maps to game day.

Just know that playmats can take on a bit of a curl when stored rolled up for a while. I find you just have to weight the corners down with something when you unroll them though. (general experience with mats, not this specific TFT version)
Usually we'd put some cans of soda or books on the edges if the curl was really bad, and it would tend to flatten out pretty quickly.

I just discovered a lightweight alternative if you have multiple maps you're rolling up all together. Keep the nylon zip-up sleeve with the built in shoulder strap after your fold-up camp chair bites the dust (posted on behalf of TFT player, wife and non-forum user).

Roll them image side out and they will sit flat when unrolled (unless rolled very tight).
