Stupid question?
Sorry if this is obvious to everyone else. We just started playing and really like the game but there is one thing we couldn't figure out for sure.
If you have Moves left can you Move after a combat? For example, if I start my turn in an empty room, use 1 Move to move into a new room, a monster gets generated because it's a new room and I automatically go into combat. After that combat is over and I've searched the room can I use my remaining Moves to do it all over again in another new room? I don't see any rule against it, but then one person's turn can get to be very long if you happen to have a lot of Links that just need one Move. Last edited by Annadeus; 09-03-2009 at 03:03 PM. Re: Stupid question?
You can do as many things on your turn as you have Move to do. Theoretically, with 3 Move you could explore three rooms and fight three monsters on your turn.

Re: Stupid question?
I don't know if you were looking for something to tell you you couldn't, but there's a pretty straightforward sentence in the combat section: "If you have Move remaining after Combat, you may use it." Since moving through links and exploring are things you can do with Move, there's clearly nothing to say you can't
You'll also note that doesn't say whether you won or lost, so you could explore 3 times and lose 3 times, with 3 Move. |
