MQ Third Printing
We have uploaded the files for the third printing (!!!) of Munchkin Quest, and we have made a few clarifications and corrections to the rules in this printing. The rules themselves are not changing -- this is merely to emphasize a couple of things (Searching uses the d6, not the d10!) and take out a couple of places where "legacy code" persisted. (I'm bemused that no one has ever pointed out in the example of play that you can't get Go Up a Level cards in your Treasure -- they're DxMs in MQ.)
We'll get these changes onto the errata page next week, but I figured I'd let you know that they're coming. Again, there's nothing game-changing in the rulebook tweaks (and we didn't touch the cards or the rooms at all), so no reason to panic. Along with this new printing, we're bringing another fan favorite Munchkin card into MQ as a new promo card. This one's originally from Blender, and all I'm going to say right now is that if you've been putting off getting the +6 Bag o' Munchkin Babes, you'll definitely want to have it when this card comes out.

Re: MQ Third Printing
Congratulations on the third printing!
Do you know if the following errata is included in the new rules? "DxM cards in your hand may now be sold straight from your hand". stated in thread: http://forums.sjgames.com/showthread.php?t=72307 |

Er, I mean, I'll get the correct version (Treasure cards, not DxMs) posted.

Re: MQ Third Printing
Then I'm shirley glad I didn't put that off. Do we need to buy the third printing or will the promo card be available at our local hobby shops like the Troll Both and coasters were?

Re: MQ Third Printing
You don't need to buy the third printing (unless you want to), but I can't say right now how the promo card will be distributated.
Er, distribulized. Hmm. I think I need more caffeine.

Re: MQ Third Printing
As far as I know, we haven't compiled a full list for posting yet.

Re: MQ Third Printing
Okay.. So long as I've not gone full on crazy yet.. I just wanted to make sure I had a full grasp of the rulebook (as required of any munchkin to reach maximum munchkiness) for my new game :)
