Today for GURPSDay, I present to you Star Wars on the Cheap: a 200-point Starship Mechanic/Slicer, adapted from a SWd20/SE character I played a few years back.

This week, I look to Creating an Effective Superhero in GURPS. This is the first in a series I'm making for crafting these characters. Next week I'll look at a number of different brick builds.

But if you read the section labeled "Fighter Pilots and Rebel Scum", on p. 33, it goes about using Ally instead of Patron for personal craft.

Yep. My thought was I cant take credit for that idea as its right there in Basic (and I prefer to avoid overusing Ally if I can) so all I remembered was the Patron part.

As for change, seriously I have several articles in Note or rough Draft form that I have rewritten core parts of long before they see an editor just because over time my ideas and preferences change.
Or someone published something new that prompted a change.

And just shy of GURPSDay, too. For what will be my GURPSDay post, I present GURPS Supers - How to Brick, a look at creating Superman and Ben Grimm style characters, a type of character commonly known in superhero circles as a "brick".

Today for GURPSDay, I present to you Details on the Social Classes in my fantasy setting, Ranoc (link in .sig). This includes Slavery on the Roman model rather than the American chattel slavery model, Clergy that are less likely to have spells and powers as you get higher up the religious hierarchy, and the idea that "Adventurer" is not a distinct social class all its own (all things I've been trying hard to drill into those who come into my games from That Other Game).
