Default Converting Cannons from 3rd ed. to 4th ed.

Anyone have any formulas to convert Cannons from 3rd edition to 4th edition stats?

Thanks

For TL4-5 cannon, you can eyeball it by halving damage and Acc and leaving the other stats unchanged. That still puts the Napoleon from High-Tech (M. Hurst's for 3rd edition) at 2.5x damage as the Napeleon from High-Tech (SA Fisher et al for 4th edition) but the Napoleon in 3rd edition seems to have erroneously high damage anyway.

For TL6-7 cannon, halve Acc (and refactor it to properly reflect the use of scopes and other aiming aids). AP penetration damage and fragmentation damage are unchanged; explosive damage is doubled. Note that you can shift AP penetration by about 10% - the 75mm Long Tank Gun from the WW2 Core book is written up as the Rheinmetall KwK40 and the Waverliet M1 in High-Tech (4th ed) with subtly different stats.

Hope that helps!
