Default What Die do I use

Ok...I hope I am not overlooking this in the rules...but what die do you roll when searching a room. Since there are 12 options and the rules say roll one die you would roll the 10 sided. Is that correct.

You roll the six-sided die. The options go higher because in rooms that are good for you, you roll an extra die.

The only times you roll the d10 are (a) to try to activate a Class's d10 Power and (b) when something else says "Roll the d10." Don't roll the d10 unless you're told explicitly to do so.

(The third printing of the game has had the rules tweaked slightly so that most references to Searching are explicit about rolling the six-siders. We thought it was clear before -- if it says "roll a die," it means the six-sided dice unless it tells you to roll something else -- but obviously what was clear to us was not clear to many other folks.)
