Playing An Item Just Acquired In Combat
The rules say two things about playing items.
1. You can play an item as soon as you get it. 2. You can play an item at any time during your turn, but not in combat. So, what happens if you get an item in the middle of combat? Can you play it or not? Case Point: Deck of Too Many Things can be used at any time during your turn, and it doesn't say you can't use it in combat. Consequently, you could use it to get items in the middle of a combat if you felt like it. There's other things that seem to do this as well. |
