Noob question
Hello guys, i'm new in GURPS and i have a noob question and i be glad if you can help.
The question is "When i using Luck do i should reroll all 3 dice or only choose 1of3 and reroll it?" This question comes up because English is not my native language and some people use Luck rerolling 3 dice. |

Re: Noob question
You reroll all three dice twice and pick the best of the three results (the first roll and the two rerolls).
And welcome to GURPS!

Re: Noob question
I've always played it as rerolling all dice involve rather than a single die.
That said, I can see how it could be read ambiguously. "You may reroll a single bad die roll" could be read either way. However, it becomes clear from reading elsewhere that "a die roll" in GURPS means an instance of rolling dice of whatever number rather than the roll of a single die. For example, the Quick Start rules on p. B8 say "A “success roll” is a die roll made when you need to “test” one of your skills or attributes." It then goes on to detail this "die roll" as rolling three dice. And that usage is repeated elsewhere in the rules. So, then, when you use Luck, you can reroll all dice involved. Rolling against a skill? Reroll all three dice. Rolling damage? Roll all damage dice.
