I'm not sure there's anything even a Kyriotate can do in a split second. :( He's got Corporeal and Celestial Healing for afterwards but nothing to stop it in that short a time-frame.

Regular banish is 1 Essence, quick-and-dirty is two, quick-and-dirty that kicks much less is more.

Also you might note that Corat is blocking Kane from hurting Dando with his arm effectively wrapped around that side of the ethereal's head, and that he just tried to--subtlely--disarm Sunae. Puck, has the show given you your brain back yet?
