Re: (IW) People Worth Snagging, Recruiting Drive Fun!
Frederick Douglass is an excellent character, a brilliant speaker and both flexible and innovative enough to be a great asset to Infinity.

True, and even as an old man surprisingly strong. I'd give him GURPS ST 16+ as a young man and at least ST 14 even in old age.

Re: (IW) People Worth Snagging, Recruiting Drive Fun!
Several Hollywood stars from worlds were they didn't get a chance to be in the movies might make great choices. William S. Hart (the first movie cowboy star) and Tom Mix (the most famous silent film cowboy) were incredible outdoors men with world class cowboy, scout, and explorer type skills. Kathrine Hepburn, Marlene Dietrich, Gene Kelly, Burt Lancaster, and Douglas Fairbanks, all combined amazing physical skills and very high social skills. Jackie Chan and Bruce Lee add profiund martial arts skills to the mix. Mable Norman and Debbie Reynolds could, with no polymorphing powers, radically change their appearance at the drop of a hat. Both women fooled close friends and relatives in public with no preperation just acting skills. Agents like these would be wildly impressive.

Re: (IW) People Worth Snagging, Recruiting Drive Fun!
Götz von Berlichingen might be worth grabbing. He was a fairly successful mercenary commander, in spite of spending most of his career missing an arm (which he had replaced with a pretty sweet prosthetic). He also has the dubious honor of being placed under the Imperial Ban (which basically made him legally something of a non-person, able to be murdered without consequence) twice and surviving. Indeed, he was still fighting in his sixties, and lived into his early eighties. He might be most worthwhile to recruit while he's still relatively young, to train him for more modern strategy, but even as an older man could at the very least be a useful agent in low-TL timelines.
