This month on the blog, I was inspired by two things: rereading some of my old FASA Star Trek material, and thanks to COVID, playing a lot on Roll20 via "viewscreen." So this month's one-shot GURPS adventure is set in the final frontier of TOS-era Star Trek / Prime Directive.

In the ready-to-run Who Tracks the Steps of Glory?, the PCs are patrolling the edge of the Romulan Neutral Zone when they receive a mysterious distress signal from inside the zone -- which quickly entangles the crew in the scheme of a Romulan commander desperate to reclaim her stolen glory and honor.

To create this adventure, I pulled a lot from various GURPS sources, including Ultra-Tech, Prime Directive, the old 3E Final Frontier fan-supplement - and also borrowed quite of bit of original FASA material. I would love to get feedback from Trek fans, as there's many ways to recreate that universe in GURPS! (I'm still working on GURPS Spaceships ports of the two starships in the adventure, and will update it if I ever finish that...)

The goal of my blog is to make it super easy for GMs to run a single-session GURPS adventure for their friends. All my adventures include pregenerated characters and (usually) fancy handouts. There are more adventures on 1shotadventures, many of which cover some of GURPS' more unusual genres:

Enjoy!

Looks like the 4th Edition "Caravan to Ein Arris" was released in March 2006. And it's free!

This month in my blog, I try to help others - and their kids - pass some time. In that spirit, here's an an old-fashioned GURPS solo adventure. Enjoy!

I've printed the adventure and dwarf character sheet off for future play. :)

This month on the blog, I finally fulfill a 30-year old promise to a friend -- to write a GURPS Ice Age adventure!

In Canyon of the Snow Cairns, the PCs are on a desperate mission to rescue their tribe leader, who has been brutally abducted by a mysterious clan and taken into the haunted and bitterly cold forest. Combining prehistoric survival with Lovecraftian horror, this adventure is a tough one!

New to my adventures is Roll20 tokens and assets, so GMs can easily get the game setup online for their friends. I'll be adding these to older popular adventures over time, too.

There are more adventures on 1shotadventures, many of which cover some of GURPS' more unusual genres:

Having a look at your website, and after checking out 'Who Tracks the Steps of Glory?', I must complement you both on a cool rewrite, and on choosing such a brilliantly Star Trek TOS-like title for it. I'm going to add a link to the description of that adventure in my Psi Trek thread.

This month on the blog, I return to the 1930s to offer up another GURPS Cliffhangers adventure!

In The Uncanny Curse of Sekhmet, the PCs are hot on the trail of a notorious bank robber. After chasing the gangster across fascist Italy, the heroes stumble into the plans of a desperate and dangerous society of global conspirators. Soon, they are sent tomb raiding across Egypt in a race to find a secret that has been buried for thousands of years...

The adventure includes pregenerated characters, handouts, and Roll20 tokens and assets, so GMs can easily get the game setup online for their friends. Even if you don't use the adventure, please steal the cool 3D maps of Egyptian tombs I had created for this one!

As always, would love your feedback as well as suggestions on to what genres to cover next.

This month on the blog, Hyborian savage, swords and sorcery fantasy makes its bloody appearance!

In Queen of the Red City, the PCs' ship lands on a primordial isle south of the Black Kingdoms. Years ago, the vile pirate captain Jal Z’thngora vanished on this very island, which was said to hold the treasures of ancient Zhemri princes. In this Hyborian sandbox adventure, the PCs follow in Z'thngora's footprints, and hope to discover – and avoid – his black fate.

While set in the world of GURPS Conan, the adventure can easily be ported over to other savage fantasy worlds. As always, the adventure includes pregenerated characters, handouts, and Roll20 tokens and assets, so GURPS GMs can easily get the game setup online for their friends.

All feedback and suggestions welcome!

This month on the blog, there's a new GURPS Action adventure... starring some antisocial freaks from the Suicide Squad.

In Minutes... Not Hours, Task Force X is "volunteered" to go on an international rescue mission, in an attempt to free a reckless U.S. senator from a revolutionary group that has uncovered an impossible, game-changing device. From exotic casinos, towering skyscrapers, and war-torn countries, this adventure hits lots of classic action staples.

While the included pregenerated characters are members of the DC universe's Suicide Squad, the adventure can also easily be modified for more Mission Impossible or Dirty Dozen-type action games.

(And for you DC fans, the adventure includes 250-point versions of Deadshot, Rick Flag, Roulette, Sledge, Mindboggler, and Larvanaut. Some real rejects in there, be careful.)

As always, the adventure also includes handouts and and Roll20 tokens and assets, so GURPS GMs can easily get the game setup online for their friends.

All feedback and suggestions welcome!

This month on the blog - in celebration of Halloween, of course - there's a new GURPS Horror adventure inspired by classic slasher films - The Mound in the Yard

In 1981, a small rural town in Tennessee experienced unexplained phenomena. Several bone-ridden, dirt mounds erupted in the yards of its residents, causing a local man to go mad and suddenly die. This investigation-heavy adventure lets PCs uncover the town's decade-old secrets and prevent the return of its most notorious killer - "Longhandle."

As always, the adventure includes pregenerated characters, handouts, and and Roll20 tokens and assets, so GURPS GMs can easily get the game setup online for their friends.

Enjoy!

There are over a dozen other adventures on 1shotadventures, many of which cover some of GURPS' more unusual genres:

Enjoy!
