Default Arithmetic in skillused tag?

I'm playing a campaign that uses a custom magic-as-powers system, where the roll to use a power is Will+Magery. My first power is Healing, and I'm trying to get the roll to display correctly.

In Healing's Full Edit Window=> Advanced window, I've been able to change the skillused tag to ST:Will, and that works and is reflected in the charskillscore tag. I can also change it to "ST:Will"+1, which likewise works.

However, I haven't been able to find a way to say ST:Will + ST:Magery that produces anything other than zero in charskillscore. Am I missing something?

Originally, I never really intended it to support more than Trait+Adj, so even though I later wrote it intending to allow support for more, I believe at some point in the process things do indeed get messed up if you don't use a numeric Adj.

I'm not at my machine to try various options and see where things go wonky.

The only way I can think around that right now is to give a bonus to ::skillscore instead of including +ST:Magery in the formula.

Thanks, but how would I do that? I'm working within GCA, rather than writing data files.

In the gives tag you would add the following:

=+ST:Magery to AD:Foo::skillscore

or, if it's being added to the trait itself you could add:

=+ST:Magery to me::skillscore

If you want to add Healing College Magery level (including "general" magery level), you could instead add:

=+"ST:Magery Healing" to me::skillscore

I tried the latter first, and it worked, once I added a gives tag. There was one already there, but attempts to set a value for it did not work. Thanks!
