Default Gnomes and Halflings

Quick question, but the gnome card says:

"Monsters treat them as if they were a halfling."

This means that they are not considered halflings for anything else such as items correct?

You are correct.

So items that say "Can only be used by Halflings" (or similar wording), even if they (the items that is) came from the Munchkin fantasy base set or "Unnatural Axe", prior to the gnome race appearing, can not be used by Gnomes?

Again, that is correct.

This work generally, but if a Gnome meet a Terrible Virus that an Halfling can kill immediately?

The Gnome works however like an Halfling or (how i think) only a real halfling can kill it?

Terrible Virus, I'm guessing is the Mighty Germ from Munchkin 2, right?

Well... should be.

Is that one with a big red face down arrow which point to a little "bug" :)

If you think that should be usefull I could also scan it, but I don't wanna "crack" any copyright :)

Btw... I'm glad to join in this forum :)

Definitely DO NOT do this. One, we don't allow image postings on the forums in any case; two, we absolutely forbid copyright violations.

To answer the earlier question; monsters treat Gnomes as Halflings unless otherwise stated. The Mighty Germ does not otherwise state. Therefore, it treats Gnomes as Halflings.

Thank you Andrew for your answer.

Obviously I've asked first to "scan" the card because I know that some Company do not want that their product are, in any way, published on Internet.

Regards to all :)

Hi, Andrew. I just want to clarify again this moment.

Mighty Germ's card said "Halflings can just stomp it, killing it automatically, regardless of its level." And gnome's card - "Monsters treat you as a Halfling." So in logic way just Halflings can stomp it and it doesn't matter that Germ treat Gnome like a Halfling, because Gnome "physically" can't stomp it. Or it's supposed to be just a text card "story"?
