Can Sandals of Protection block a whole party curse someone else found?

if a player has the sandals of protection card in play and an opponent kicks in the door and gets a curse card that affects all players, does the curse affect the player that has sandals of protection?

Nope, they only work when YOU kick down the door. Not if a cursed is played on you or its a whole part curse.
