Default Munchkin Harry Potter (Stupefy Curse)

Just a quick question that came up during a game, A friend played the curse Stupefy on another player during combat after some one shots were already played. Stupefy states that the player must discard all one shot items. Does this include one shots that have been played in combat or just ones that are on the table or all to include the ones in a players hand?

Ones that have already been played into the fight stay in the game.

  1. The One-Shots being played on the Monster are no longer the player's, but now the Monster's?
  2. If the One-Shots become One-Shots of the Monster's, does the player play the curse on the Monster to loose the One-Shots played on the Monster? The card does not state the word "player," but the word "your." (tricky, tricky wording)
  3. Does the player discard the unused carried One-Shots on the table and not their hand? Since no player can verify what is in a player's hand.

One-shots that are played into a combat have shot their wad, fired their musket ball, or whatever metaphor you want to use. The BONUS applies to either the munchkin side or the monster side, but the one-shot itself is expended. There are some cards that reverse this and require players to recover the one-shots they have played, for use in some other fight, but those cards are explicit and the card in question isn't one of them.

Your final question is easily answered by the rules: cards in the hand are not targets of any effect that doesn't SAY it cards in the hand.
