Starting out, want to play with kids, starting set?
Ok, I've been on these forums poking around and I saw someone say a good one to start is the (foggy memory) something like munchkin treasure set... well anyways the big thing I saw was the age of 6 and up, which would be ideal because I want to play this game with my 6 yr old daughter who I'm still working on teaching how to read, so while the original munchkin game looks very fun, I pretty much would have to play with our cards showing and um I guess unmunchkinly ;) I mean, she is my daughter. What I was wondering is if that set is standalone and/or an expansion with the original? I mean like could i play it by itself and maybe also as she gets older and better add in the original game?

Re: Starting out, want to play with kids, starting set?
Munchkin Treasure Hunt is a completely separate game and wholly incompatible with the original card game, any of its card game offshoots (e.g., Munchkin Booty, Star Munchkin), and Munchkin Quest.
To get a better idea of gameplay, you can read the rules here. Usually, the rules for every Munchkin product are eventually made available on the rules page. |

Thanks for the info, and I don't suppose you could take a crack at answering my forum post titled "2014 Catalog"?
