What ever happed to Munchkin Quest 3?
And why won't they develop anything else for Munchkin quest? It's by far my favourite version of the game.

Re: What ever happed to Munchkin Quest 3?
I suspect the answer is probably that it doesn't sell as well as the card game versions.
I seem to recall that not only are there no plans for a Munchkin Quest 3, but that there are no plans to reprint Munchkin Quest 2. I've always wanted to try the game, but have been scared off by reports that the game takes AGES to play, and thus was unwilling to take a chance on it at the substantially higher price point. I probably could have tried it out at my FLGS, but I didn't think I'd ever have that much time to commit to playing something there. |

Sales don't support further development.

Re: What ever happed to Munchkin Quest 3?
Part of the Munchkin Quest 3 we were working on turned into Portal Kombat, which satisfied our goal of opening up the board, making it easier to assist (or hinder) in combat and just to move around in general.
The rest of that version of MQ3 did exactly the opposite, and we didn't figure out a good way to work around it, so we shelved it.

Ahh, alright that makes sense, wouldn't want to undo what you fixed. I do hope that there is a kick starter campaign for a quest expansion in the future, no matter how unlikely it is to happen. Keep making awesome games :)

Quest is one of the few loved games in our team.
We don't play it all the time, but when we do, we usually spend 3+ hours. And we LOVE IT! So definitely looking for a MQ3 in the far far future |

Even with setup, it seems to only really take 90 to 120 minutes at most. |
