I've heard rumours that you might be able to find a decent In Nomine game at this site...

I saw that. Looked like all the In Nomine games were full.

Check with Heretic up there -- she's the GM of the Pacific War campaign (angelic-themed) and she can say whether there's room for reinforcements. JCD on these boards runs a demonic PbP; again, he can say if he's ready to add players.

Do you think such GMs would mind a player that only has the basic book?

OT: I thought heretic was a dude. I wonder why I've been wrong for so long.

Because I do that on purpose--when I first started online during WWIV days, being known as female was the quickest way to not get taken seriously. The handle is deliberately vague, and very old.

I'm always open to new players, especially since old ones sometimes drop off. Right now my Real LifeTM is a bit full so it would take me a tad longer than usual to integrate a new character. Also take a peek at the first post in either thread--if your character concept overlaps significantly with one already in play, you'll have to clear it with that player.

That said no problem on the limited books. Just play a character who doesn't hinge on detailed knowledge or obscure powers, and we'll advise you on the rest.

Go have a read and let me know if you're interested.

As the only player in JCD's game, I certantly wouldn't mind another player, but I should point out that it's very slow game as he's in India and can't reliably connect to the SJG website. So he winds up posting every few weeks. Heretic's game moves much faster.

That's cool. Now if only I can find my blasted book. My house goblin likes to borrow books until I clean. He's passive aggressive like that.

What is JCD's game thread?

Why no 'loyal' demons Heretic?
