Curse of Strahd is on my wishlist. Are the series of adventures DM's Guild or RPG Now?

Yes. ;)

DMGuild is a particular interface of DriveThru, as is RPGNow, DriveThruRPG, Wargame Vault, Drive Through Comics... ;)

By the way, just over a week ago, Athas.org had a talk about defiling. I haven't listened to all of it (the wifi I use cr*pped out...), but here is the link:

Not sure they'd be willing to sell Eberron, given that the unearthed arcana articles are pointing to a release of Eberron hardcover soon.

They'll sell. Although I think they want the option to prepare a hardcover for Eberron first.

They also had a podcast with Troy Denning, one of the original writers of Dark Sun.

So just to clarify, are you personally attempting to purchase these IPs or is that something that the company you work for (Rite Publishing?) is planning to do?

TBH, while I would love to see someone actually do something with these IPs, I'm more than a bit skeptical of any willingness on the part of WotC (or Hasbro) to part with the rights to these settings. They might sell a license to use them, but selling them outright seems pretty unlikely.

Iíve reached out to contacts at Wizards to see whether I can verify this information. (If they actually ARE in negotiations of this sort, I donít expect them to tell me, but then I wouldnít expect anyone involved to discuss it, either.)

Until that time, Iím locking the thread. Iíll reopen it if and when the information in here can be confirmed, either through private channels or (preferably) via a public announcement.
