Default [Martial Arts] Combining boots with Striker (limb)

If you have a leg that's also a Striker, can you still claim the damage bonus to kicks from wearing boots in addition to the Striker damage bonus?

Striker (limb) is about having a better striking surface innately, while boots themselves serve as a better striking surface. So, logically they should not stack, although I don't think there's really a game balance reason to disallow it.

"Striker" refers to anything. Tail, hand, foot, weapon-tipped limb, weapon you actually carry and can never lose, weapon you can lose (Gadget based Striker), extra-dimensional attack, etc.

All of that is in the fluff, Limitations, and Enhancements.

Since a Striker already does Thr+1, I can't really see boots helping. It'd be like wearing brass knucks on a fist that's made of steel - it's not making the striking surface any more destructive than it already is.
