Summoned holy (unholy) things are essentially built by snapping on modules. The player can pick the modules, effectively designing the Ally, without being permitted to build the Ally from scratch. That said, everything in DF 11 is for GMs to allow to players, not for players to pick willy-nilly. This includes Allies, Alternate Forms, and other things that use racial templates.

Ally Upgrade (+125 points): DX+1 [20]; IQ+4 [80]; HT+1 [10]; Basic Speed +0.50 [10]; and Higher Purpose (Assist and protect master) [5].

Simple and effective. Or alternatively, borrow from the Divine Servitors:

Divine Upgrade (+125 points): IQ+2 [40]; Will-2 [-10]; Per-2 [-10]; Higher Purpose (Assist and protect master) [5]; and choose two divine element packages [100].

EDIT: Double ninja'd!
Maybe it has been double ninja-ed, but it's still going to my House Rules master document ;)

It might be a good idea to put it in your PDF file in your site...

Wouldn't the summonable riding bear be allowed to eat out in... where ever it is when it isn't summoned? That would actually be a decent reason why it doesn't show up on a failed roll, you caught it in a hungry time.
Each SM being a range, of course being around 7 feet tall and wide across the shoulders is enough to bump you up into +1 territory.

My mistake. I was thinking of the ogre in the size chart the Rev has on his DF page instead of the human barbarian.

And SMs always round up -- which prompted the interesting thread about "Is a 6'1" person SM +1?" a few months ago. (Answer: No, not really.)

So yeah, a barbarian isn't automatically 9' tall. A nice, stocky 7' or 7.5' is still inline with Gigantism.

She doesn't quite have the free character points. She got that battle axe enchanted with +9 Puissance and +9 Accuracy (Bane, only against smurfs) as Signature Gear.

That's a perfectly normal height ogre according to the DF3 writeup :D

I pegged the barbarian at about 7'6" because Dalip Singh Rana is 7'-ish (don't trust a pro-wrestlers advertized height) and frankly, I put Barbarians at "Slightly larger than gigantic". And he's my benchmark for "adventure-ready and gigantic at the same time".

Also, 7'6" is half way between SM0 and SM 1, and I like "Gigantism" as sort of "SM +0.5"

Indeed.

BTW, cool answers in this thread.
