What I'm curious about is whether there are exactly seven seal cards, so you are dealing with the same ones in every game, of if there are more than seven, and you just open only the first seven (at most) in the deck in any given game. I would kind of hope there were more than seven total, just so there would be greater variety from game to game...

Per the product page, the game comes with 12 "Seal" cards.

Cool. Didn't check that, don't know why.

I figured there HAD to be a winner, it couldn't just be "all players lose HAHA SUCK IT." This is a very interesting way to determine the winner, though. I like it.

I do wonder, though, if the Seal mechanic could be utilized in a house rule variant cooperative version of Munchkin (now THERE'S an oxymoron) somehow. ;-) (Though obviously any serious consideration of that subject would have to take place in the house rule thread, not here.)

So, why even bring it up here? And, no, I don't want any response, I just want people to stop proposing house rule discussions where they don't belong.

In an apocalypse, sometimes it's more about preparedness (i.e., having all the best gear) than just how buff you are without them.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. It's the obvious logic behind the winning condition.

I don't know if there is a theft power in Apocalypse, but if there IS, I'd think somebody that had it would suddenly become rather dangerous once the Sixth Seal was open, if they had a means of opening the seventh.
