How many pages can a post have?

When I look at the Report To The Stakeholders post, it says it has 125 pages, but I cannot get further than page 124. Clicking on 125 just takes me to the page I'm on already.

Is there something wrong here?

Looks like a weird bug, like there may be a missing post that's throwing things off. I don't see any missing content, though, so... ?

I've seen this on various threads for awhile (at least a couple of months).

It's done that on long threads for years. The forum software should really be replaced with something that isn't 17 years old, but sjgames.com is on the 'failures' list for the stakeholder's report for a reason, and replacing a forum system is not something you want to do without a pretty substantial chunk of time set aside for shaking out the problems.

Well, if it gives problems, a moderator could always split the 2017 Stakeholders thread off to a new thread to be used for 2017 and thence going forward.

My recollection is that it sometimes does this when there is only one post on the final page. Once another post gets added (say, by someone responding to an earlier post) it seems to straighten itself out.

For the Stakeholders Report, a new thread each year would be a big help.

This can happen when there have been 1 or more messages deleted or just hidden, leaving some slack at the end.
