A definite consideration for the Power-Ups series is that we regard it as a preserve for staff-written system elaborations. As such, the supplements will always consist entirely of game-mechanical "crunch." Researching fiction, myth, and history is mostly too costly a job to do on the clock; we deliberately leave that to freelancers who would do such research for their own edification regardless. Our desire is for Power-Ups to be pure rules and stats. Thus, while we do consider suggestions for Power-Ups volumes (e.g., I wrote Power-Ups 3: Talents because people clearly wanted it, even after claiming explicitly that I never would), we have to apply a filter to our considerations that screens out requests that would mean wading through non-GURPS sources.

All of that would go equally for a putative series covering problems and curses. I think that a DSM-to-disadvantages or mythic-curses-to-traits guide would be pretty keen, but it would have to be a freelance project of some kind, well outside the Power-Ups framework. Ultimately, the GURPS staff are writers of mechanics, not library researchers.

A quite understandable consideration.

Followed by a hint to our freelancers, of course. ;)

WHY!!!!
This is how In Nomine fans have felt for years - many reprints and a very occasional new item. It's only been a couple of months for you GURPS folks... and not even that long if you take Pyramid into account.

And consider the Car Wars fans, who've received even less than the IN fanbase has.

Take it like a man...

Rest assured, too, that the GURPS stuff actually exists . . . it's just that there's a humongous cybertank taking priority right now, as anyone who reads our front page might be aware. The internal memos say, basically, "Do Not Disturb."

And the Ogre fans are very happy about that "Do Not Disturb" sign. :)

That right there is so incredibly hard for anyone to do. The world would be a much better place if people were allowed to change their minds when given new information without looking "weak".
I salute you, sir.
