And it's very fun, though I do wish Flint Knapping and Fire Starting had been rolled up into the Survival skill as specific Techniques. No need to add extra skills when it isn't needed.

Fire starting IS a Survival Skill technique.

And I think Flint Knapping is unique enough to be it's own skill.

Huh, I ran a one shot in a setting like this, right after 4E came out. Great fun. I'll have to look at this book.

Doh! At first I thought the author was lwcamp . . . I realize I was wrong. Why the choice to use a nick? It doesn't seem very professional but there may be good reasons I can't think of.

Also, I haven't seen playtest credits, was the book playtested with a different policy?

TIA.

I sent in the list of playtesters; it should have been included in the PDF. (I don't have my author's copy yet...)

As for the nickname -- it's what I've had everything published under (inside and outside the gaming industry), and I've got a pretty long list of pro credits. Whether or not it's unprofessional...well, if it was professional enough for Mark Twain, Lewis Carroll, Ayn Rand, Stan Lee, and Jack Kirby, it's professional enough for me.

That's more of an example of the contrast between noms de plume vs handles.
Not to say that all noms de plume look professional, some of them don't.

It's your choice of course, just be aware that if you want anonymity and prefer to use a handle instead of a nom de plume, Luther's reaction may be typical.
