here is my kobold like race the pichial.

total points: 50
Basic Attributes:ST-6 [-60] DX+2 [40]
Secondary modifiers: SM-3 BM-1 [-5] BS+.5 [10]
Advantages: DR 3 (directional back -40%; semi-ablative -20%; hardened +20%)[9] fearlessness 5 [10] tunneling (move 2) [40] vibration sense (ground) [10] reduced consumption 2 [4] reduced consumption(cast iron stomach) 2 [2] infravision [10] claws (sharp) [5]
Disadvantages:easy to kill 5 [-10] magic susceptibility 5 [-15] curious (12) [-5] color blindness [-10]
Features: born biter, tail

the Pichial are small 2 foot tall underground species that look like Gharial headed (and tailed) anthropomorphic Pink Fairy Armadillos with the armor fuzz found on the Screaming Hairy Armadillo (and will squeal like them on occasion.) most Pichial towns make there living on mining and selling the raw ores to other settlements. quite commonly this is the only contact the settlement has with the Pichial at all. and will most commonly not realise the Pichial's strength there numbers and skill with traps and alchemy. Pichial women become more fertile as they age going from on avrage 25 children per year at the age of 16 to 60 children at the age of 50 to 100 children at the age of 90.

Even though they can be kind of easy to kill there really can be a horde of these things with that reproductive rate! Seems like they would need a predator species.

I like these guys. Have you thought about giving them a bonus to Perception? It would work well with their enhanced senses and explain how they survived this long with Curiosity on top of 4 HP and an average 5- on Death Checks (which is a little harsh, IMHO - I've battled roaches that were harder to squish than that)...

Why not just make it all Cast-Iron Stomach for the discount and bigger resistance bonus? When you're already going through the garbage for food, does it really matter what fraction of your dietary needs are being satisfied that way?
