Re: Training Packages?
Incidentally, the nuts-and-bolts lists were hidden from the players. They chose based entirely on text descriptions. Then I stacked all the stuff together and put it on character sheets. Where there were odd numbers of points or overlapping items, I banked the excess points until the very end, read the player's character bio, and dropped all the extra points in the skill that the player obviously planned to use a lot.

Re: Training Packages?
Very nice!
I dare say that would work for lots of secret agent campaigns. I especially like that you hid the actual skills from the players.

Re: Training Packages?
In my current campaign I just let the players make the character they wanted and actually love the fact that none of them picked the skills they will need beyond guns pistol. Bio hazard suit is the one that has probably cropped up and caused the most mayhem so far.

Re: Training Packages?
I'd just started work on a SF exSF and had reached MOS. I had various Thread suggestions, T2K, Seals in Vietnam and such for rough ideas but now I've got Kromm and Icelander for exemplar. All I need is to beat my addiction and absent min
