Dark Sun Defiling magic
Converting Dark Sun to GURPS.
Defiling Magic. Using Threshold-Limiting Magic from Thaumatology p.76. Once the preserver/defiler uses up all of their FP, they can draw mana from the environment, but at a cost. This kills and turns the the surrounding area to ash. The higher the roll on the Calamity chart, the greater the area. How is this for a quick bolted on fix? Thoughts? Suggestions? Add-ons |

I would use a variant of the Spirit-Assisted magic. Defiling magic should be an option which is powerful but addictive. And if people see you use defiling magic they should make a reaction roll from -4.
