Re: The World of Dreams
For two days, a fleet of obviously alien spacecraft visit planet Earth. They don't take anything, they don't destroy anything, they don't even say anything. And then they disappear as quickly as they came.

Desperate to increase their country's chronically low birthrate, the Japanese government begins paying women to bear and raise children. The pay is enough for a respectable lower middle class living, and after the tenth child, a modest pension is available. There are also bonuses for additional births.

A friendly werewolf acts like a very tame "doggy" around children, putting up with all the usual indignities to keep them safe. He is served a large portion of ice cream and dips dog biscuits in it.

A magic credit card that enables the user to reset time in the local area back to just before you last used it.
An evil immortal who uses powers of mental communication to try to convince people to try to kill it, in the hopes that this will let it get free of imprisonment. |

A warehouse full of comedy scripts, costumes, and props, the product of an entire extended family of comedians who worked from the 1920s to the present day. But all of that has come to an end. The patriarch is dead and the current generation has drifted off to other work.

A group of comedians having a heated argument about what industrial process is the best metaphor for comedy writing. Do you pan for it like gold? Mine it like coal? Bake it like bread?

Re: The World of Dreams
Evil Mustache Productions is a video games company devoted to making people angry. They won't publish a game unless they know some prominent group will really really hate it.
Their first game, No Way, Jose! had the player fighting illegal immigration by detecting tunnels, building walls, and sniping illegals coming across the border. They turned that around with Power of the State, a game about implementing a nation-wide ban on guns. No one knows who they'll turn on next. Moms? The Ivy League? The US Marine Corps? According to insiders, all of these have been considered. |
