Pet Monsters Are Busy?
I'm playing a game with Fairy Dust involved. Joan D'Orc was brought out while looking for treasure. Monsters Are Busy (From Clerical Errors) was played on it. The player whose turn it was played Pet Monster from FD. Is the monster treated as a pet or was it taken out of the combat when the Monsters Are Busy card was played?

Re: Pet Monsters Are Busy?
Monsters Are Busy states, I believe, that they lock you out of the room. So at that point you are no longer in combat with Joan D'Orc and thus no longer able to create a pet Joan D'Orc. (You also don't get to clear the room since the monsters are busy and still inside the room.)

Re: Pet Monsters Are Busy?
Monsters Are Busy prevents you from fighting the Monsters, and is one of those rare cards that ends combat immediately. You can't add to, modify or use some card or ability to take one of the Monsters. So, no Pet Monster can not be played, but as a consolation, you may still trade GUAL cards for two Treasures each because of Monsters Are Busy. . .
