You know, it would have taken you far less effort to just answer the damn question in the first place instead of dodging it like you've done. I therefore conclude you don't have a clue what you're talking about.

Re: Dungeon Fantasy 7: Attack of the Healbots
Hi. The moderator, here. Okay, so... what you guys are doing? Yeah, it stops. Right now.
Pete, you tried to draw a distinction between "crunch" and "crunchy bits" without offering any explanation. This has confused people, and they're getting understandably testy about it. If you're not going to offer reasoning, then let the matter drop, yeah? Everyone else, skip right to the "let the matter drop" part. If you want to discuss the book, fine, but don't use this thread as an excuse to start fights.

Re: Dungeon Fantasy 7: Attack of the Healbots
I would say that's a good curriculum for GURPS Dungeon Fantasy.

Re: Dungeon Fantasy 7: Attack of the Healbots
Reading this thread brought up an old question for me.
The feeling someone had that the authors didn't love the game. Way back when GURPS came out one of the things about reading the book that has since diminished or vanished is the humor. I love the new books and this isn't an insult but the style feels different then when the company was smaller. Was it becasue SJ was the editor? Is it a push to just be more professional in editing or the authors that have changed? Used to be books were full of humor, inside jokes, weird things that made you laugh as you read them. Now not so much. |

Please explain the Shokuso Gi joke, because it looks like a standard bit of powerful ninja gear to me.
